I'm Leslie Holmes, pet photographer and life-long animal lover. I’ve been taking photos since I was old enough to operate a camera, but I became more serious about my photography when I started my pet-care business in 2011. While photographing my amazing little fur-clients, I found that my two passions (animals & photography) merged seamlessly into one career that fit me like a glove: pet photography! I’ve been shooting professionally ever since.

I have a love for capturing candid shots of animals in their favorite places, whether it’s on a walk in their neighborhood, at their favorite play spots, or lounging on their favorite chair at home. Wherever they’re happiest and most at ease is usually where the best photos emerge. And, of course, being with their beloved humans brings about the biggest smiles, so your presence and engagement will make it all the more special (don’t worry… you don’t have to be in the photo if you don’t want to be)!

Working with me as your photographer is typically a casual affair. My approach is to blend in, be flexible, and do whatever is most comfortable for your pet(s). The main goal of our session is to create an environment where your pet feels relaxed and safe enough for their full personality to emerge. While some animals love getting in the car and exploring the outdoors, others prefer to stay close to home, so I offer several options for our time together in order to tailor our session to the needs of you and your pet.
